Stirchley and Brookside Parish Council was formed in May 1988. It has thirteen members, representing the wards of Brookside, Stirchley and Holmer Lake.
The Parish Council offices are based within The Sambrook Centre in Stirchley and employs four full time and eight part time staff.

The Sambrook Centre
In September 2012 the Parish Council moved into the library building to create a unique community facility combining Telford & Wrekin Council's library service, Fairshare Credit Union and the South Telford Rights of Way Partnership.
The building has a large central atruim, a studio for up to 30 people and a small meeting room for a dozen or so which are available to hire. Room hire rates.
There is a coffee bar where people are welcome to meet and enjoy at hot drink.
